All right! This has got to be my new favourite stitch pattern. Super comfy, super chic and best of all, super easy. I'm sure you've heard of this stitch, it's one of the most basic ones: the seed stitch. Here, I'll show you how to make a twisted cowl/shawl from it.
Materials
1) Size 8 straight knitting needles.
2) 300~310 yarns of size 8 yarn (I used Caron Simply Soft yarn - in Harvest Red.)
Gauge: 18-24 sts per 4".
Note: What I liked about the yarn and the stitch pattern was that it stretches quite nicely, but will return to it's original size. Meaning, when you double the cowl around your neck, it will stretch to let you breathe. But when you want to let it down again for the long cowl or shawl, it will fit you snuggly without feeling too loose.
